Based out of San Diego, the Chunky Hustle Brass Band, originally dubbed Crew D’Etat BB, began as a group of citizen musicians seeking to bring inspiring music to the equality march and women’s march. We gathered on Mission Bay Park through sunsets and full moons crafting original music and arranging familiar brass band and pop tunes with our own unique flavors. Now a regular on the San Diego music scene we are nominated ‘Best New Artist’ of 2019 by the San Diego Music Awards.
